The Intelligent Viewing feature allows client users to efficiently monitor large numbers of cameras by displaying on their PC monitors only predefined relevant video streams of motion, events and views. This solves the problem of managing dozens and hundreds of mostly-static cameras streams. On event - whether it be detected motion, contact closure or scheduled event - a camera view of the event would appear immediately on the user's monitor, thus dramtically improving the response time and overall efficiency of the entire surveillance system.
With Event-driven Push Video, push video streams will automatically pop-up on any number of users’ PC monitors, above all other running applications. For example, on event, police and security personnel will have access to live video via a vehicle mounted laptop, control room spot-monitor, of even PDA (optional); or, a scheduled view of the hallway would pop-up on a school's principal's PC monitor during recess. And since only a single data stream is used from each camera, there is no bandwidth limitation. No matter how many users are viewing a certain camera, there would be no degradation of the image or framerate to any user.
The NetMatrix user-interface includes functions such as one-touch switching of multiple cameras to multiple display screens, activation via graphical premises maps, and redirection of predefined video streams to users’ monitors. NetMatrix is 100% integrated with OnSSI's NVRs, and is controlled from within the NVR.
